Recommended as an added accessory to our SBB-5 Spring Back Bracket.
AP-TS-3D is built-in High-Quality Aluminum Alloy and Black Powder Coated. It is designed for installation on the boat transom. This Armor Plate is designed to fit Lowrance®/Simrad® Total Scan transducer # 000-12568-001 or LSS2 Structure Scan transducer # 000-10802-001 or Structure Scan 3D transducer # 000-12396-001 or Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer # 000-14489-001 or 2-in-1 transducer # 000-14490-001 (all approximately 10-1/4″ long). This item includes stainless steel hardware and easy Do-It Yourself instructions.
An Armor Plate is designed to protect the transducer from side to side as well as front and back impact. An Armor Plate takes the place of the factory transom mounting bracket. It is also designed to attach to our Spring Back Bracket # SBB-5 for all around transducer protection.
If the Armor Plate is installed anywhere other than on the transom, for example on the set back wall, some shimming may be required if the transducer angle needs to be adjusted.
A Spring Back Bracket # SBB-5 is recommended when ordering an Armor Plate for all around transducer protection. If an Armor Plate breaks, which has been attached to the boat without a Spring Back Bracket, it has no warranty whatsoever.
