AP-ONIX-HDSI is built in high quality aluminum alloy and black powder coated. This item includes stainless steel hardware and easy Do-It Yourself instructions. The Humminbird factory hardware is not required with our Armor Plate.
AP-ONIX-HDSI will fit Humminbird® Onix HDSI Transducer # XT 14 20 HDSI T or XT 14 20 T (RD). Please know YOUR transducer number when ordering this item (Humminbird® has not changed the transducer number on their website). The transducer number can be found on the cable closest to the plug.
This is a great way to attach your transducer to the transom if you do not have a jack plate and if you have a suitable area on the transom. Our Armor Plates are designed to protect the transducer from side to side as well as front and back impact. The Armor Plate can be attached to our Spring Back Bracket SBB-4 for all around transducer protection. Consider purchasing both items when placing your order.
If the Armor Plate is installed anywhere other than on the transom, for example on the set back wall, some shimming may be required if the transducer angle needs to be adjusted.
