Ideal for boats with flat transoms or for boats without a jack plate.
Recommended as an added accessory to our SBB-5 Spring Back Bracket.
AP-GT-6 will fit Garmin DownVü/SideVü with Chirp Transducers – GT 22 # 010-12403-00, GT 24 # 010-12908-00, GT 52 # 010-12405-00 or GT 54 # 010-12909-00. This items includes stainless steel hardware and easy Do-It Yourself instructions. Your transducer factory bracket will not be required with an Armor Plate.
Item # AP-GT-6 is built in High Quality Aluminum Alloy and Black Powder Coated for installation on the boat transom. It is designed to protect the transducer from side to side as well as front to back impact. If the Armor Plate is installed anywhere other than on the transom, for example on the set back wall, some shimming may be required if the transducer angle needs to be adjusted.
Our Armor Plates are designed as an added attachment to our SBB-5 Spring Back Bracket for all around transducer protection. Please consider ordering an SBB-5 when ordering the Armor Plate.
