Description
The Progressive Dynamics PD9260-CV is a 12V 60A 9200 Series RV Power Converter with advanced features for efficient battery charging. Equipped with the built-in Charge Wizard, it offers a 4-Stage charging process to optimize battery performance.
In the Boost Mode, the converter rapidly charges the batteries at 14.4 volts until they reach 90% capacity. The Normal Mode follows, reducing the voltage to 13.6 volts to complete the charging cycle. Once the batteries are fully charged, the unit switches to the Storage Mode, maintaining the batteries at 13.2 volts to prevent overcharging. Additionally, the Equalization Mode charges the batteries at 14.4 volts for 15 minutes every 21 hours, preventing battery stratification and sulfation.
The PD9260 includes the Charge Wizard Remote Pendant, which connects to the RV converter. This pendant features an LED light that indicates the converter's status (Boost, Normal, or Storage Mode) and a Manual Override button to manually cycle through the charging modes for added control and convenience.
