Description
The Packard Start Capacitor is designed for intermittent duty in AC motor starting circuits. It has a voltage rating of 110-125 volts and a capacitance of 124-149 MFD. The capacitor features a diameter of 1-7/16" and a height of 2-3/4".
These motor start capacitors are dry, electrolytic, and non-polarized. The round cases are constructed of moisture and oil-resistant molded phenolic resin or plastic. They come with standard dual blade terminals for easy installation.
The capacitor is rated for a 3-second start and can handle up to 20 starts per hour. It operates within a temperature range of 40°C to 65°C (-40°F to 149°F), making it suitable for various environments.
The Packard Start Capacitor meets or exceeds the standards set by the Electronic Industries Association (EIA) and complies with the RS-463 Type 2 standard. It operates at a frequency of 50/60 Hz.
Mfg #TMJ124 is the manufacturer's reference number for this specific capacitor model.
