Crossflow direct-drive blowers fit into long, narrow spaces and provide a steady flow of air across their entire length. Intake air is drawn in from the area around the blower wheel and pushed into an exhaust guide rather than moving through a fan scroll housing. This design reduces the chance of intake blockages which helps to ensure continuous operation in environments where cleaning or maintenance may be infrequent.
