Description
The DLS-27-40/IQ4 by IOTA is a versatile 24-volt, 40-amp, 4-stage automatic battery charger. It efficiently converts nominal 108-132 AC voltage to 27.2 DC voltage for both DC load operation and 24V battery charging.
Power Supply: Functioning as a power supply, it offers tightly controlled regulation, allowing operation of a nominal 24VDC load of up to 40 amps.
Battery Charger: When used as a battery charger, the unit maintains the battery by delivering its full-rated current when necessary, minimizing stress on the battery caused by heating. This optimized charging process helps to extend the battery's lifespan. As the battery nears its full capacity over time, the DLS automatically reduces the current, providing a float-charge to prevent self-discharge and ensure long-term battery health.
