The 40101-001 50A is a reverse polarity transfer switch from Southwire. This permanent switch seamlessly connects to your power box, effortlessly switching the power load between two sources. It automatically transfers to generator power when energized after a 30-second delay.
In situations where both shore power and generator power are available, the generator takes precedence after a 30-second delay. Upon shutting down the generator, shore power activates after a 3-4 second delay, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted power supply.
