- The Atwood EHM11 performs reliably assuring customer satisfaction and full use of hot water benefits designed in your pleasure boat and rv. It was designed not only to heat water quickly and efficiently but also deliver every ounce of usable hot water from the tank. One of the features of the EHM11 is the built-in heat exchanger which is designed for the water heater's capacity resulting in heat up times superior to competitive models. The heat exchanger uses a double tube construction that prevents any possibility of engine coolant contaminating the fresh water system.The casing of the EHM11 is constructed from corrosion resistant materials and is carefully painted so it will stand up against the most corrosive marine environments. The tank is constructed of high strength aluminum core with a bonded corrosion fighting cladding material on the interior surface to assure a long life and the cubic shape offers greater flexibility for location in floor plans. The recovery rate of this unit is 7.2 gallons per hour. The EHM11 is equipped with a high quality 120 volt 1400 watt incalloy heating element designed to withstand accidental operation in an empty tank.
