The Atwood 30337 is a circuit breaker switch. See below for more details.
Created to protect the blower motor, the circuit breaker is a heat sensitive, re-settable device. Heat evidences itself in the form of an amp draw in furnaces. Due to this, different sized motors also mean different amperage ratings on circuit breakers. If you’re replacing a breaker, use a similar amperage rated breaker. The breakers present on Atwood furnaces have a slow blow style and are externally mounted. Due to the location on the furnace, heat does not affect their operation. Short amperage spikes won’t cause them to trip either. An excessive and prolonged amperage draw is necessary to trip the motor. Therefore, if/when the circuit breaker trips, it’s because a problem exists.
